The Sitting Rooms

The main sitting room is an attractively finished, cosy room. There is comfortable seating around the imposing stone fireplace which is fitted with a living flame gas stove. There is a television and D.V.D. player.

Also very comfortably and cosily furnished, the second sitting room room has a log-burning stove, a C.D. player and radio and a selection of books, games and jigsaws as well as many local interest books, maps, leaflets etc.

Family Dining-Kitchen

The light and airy dining kitchen with its partially glazed roof leads out onto the cottage garden.

The kitchen is a very pleasant room and an excellent focal point for family meals around the large farmhouse table. The room is very well equipped with fridge, gas cooker and hob, microwave, dishwasher, electric kettle and coffee machine.

A door leads into the pantry/laundry room which houses a fridge-freezer, washing machine and tumble drier.

Main Bedroom

This is a spacious, light and airy king-sized room with velux window and exposed roof beams. The room has a king-sized bed and is attractively furnished and decorated. There is a built-in wash hand basin/vanity unit.

All beds throughout the cottage are comfortable and new with good quality linen. Bedrooms have ample wardrobe space, bedside tables and lamps. All bedrooms have black-out blinds.

Twin Bedroom and Single Bedroom

The twin bedroom is attractively furnished with co-ordinating curtains, bedding etc. and plenty of storage.There is a second tv in this room.

The small single bedroom a pleasant outlook onto the garden. The low height bed is ideal for a child. A travel cot and bedrail are available if required.

Bathroom

The family bathroom, also overlooking the garden, has a traditional white suite comprising bath, W.C., wash hand basin and over-bath electric shower. There is a heated brass towel rail and large airing cupboard.

There is an additional WC/cloakroom downstairs.

Garden

Backing onto the croft, from which the cottage takes its name, the large and private cottage garden is accessed by stone steps (this may not be suitable for those with mobility problems).

The large lawned area with its well-stocked borders and stone flagged patio is gated off from the steps.

The sunny, south-facing patio has barbeque and garden furniture.

Cycles may be stored round the back of the house and there is a hosepipe for cleaning of bikes etc.

A travel cot, bed-rail, steam steriliser, highchair, portable stair gate and toys are available on request. Please note that cot linen is not available and that there are no permanent stair gates on the stairs.
